Reflection Question
What ordinary miracle are you missing right now while waiting for extraordinary experiences? How might your life change if you recognized that peace and beauty are already available in this moment?
Application Tip
Practice "miracle walking" daily. Choose one walk—to your car, around the block, through your home—and perform it as a meditation. Feel each footstep kissing the earth. Notice three things: what you see (colors, shapes, light), what you hear (distant sounds, nearby rustles, silence between sounds), and what you feel (air on skin, clothing moving, muscles working). Walk slowly enough to actually register these sensations. When your mind wanders to past or future, gently return attention to the miracle of this step, this breath, this moment. The practice isn't about achieving a special state but recognizing the extraordinariness of ordinary existence. After one week, notice whether presence reveals beauty you'd been missing while lost in thought.
