Implement a "Decision-Action Bridge" for a goal you've been postponing. First, identify the specific decision that would launch your journey—not the entire plan, but the initial commitment. Create a formal decision document stating what you're committing to and why, then schedule a symbolic "commitment ceremony" where you sign this document and take one immediate action, however small. Follow with a "First Five Actions" list of very small steps to build momentum. Each time you complete one, immediately schedule the next, focusing solely on maintaining forward motion rather than the entire path. This structure helps overcome the psychological barrier of beginning while leveraging the natural tenacity that emerges once action is underway.
